Project Manager at A Famous E –Learning Company (Designation will be Business Manager)

Purpose of the Job:

Management of project(s), typically involving planning, development and implementation of systems to meet identified client needs, within defined parameters of cost, time scales, and quality.

Highlights:

·          Challenge of leading and motivating a multifunctional team consisting of Graphic Designers, Software Engineers, Content writers/ Instructional Designers.

·          Managing project(s) for international clients.

·          Ownership of every stage of the Project Life cycle.

·          Single point of contact for the client and the team. Empowerment for managing the project(s).

·          Knowledge of MS project plan, estimation process, software life cycle. Etc

Incumbent would be required to perform following tasks:

1.     Define, document and execute projects, actively participating in all phases of the project. Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project.

2.     Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference.

3.     Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports as appropriate.

4.     Monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria.

5.     Provide effective leadership to the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience. Project Managers will have teams reporting to them and hence people management skills are key to success in this position.

6. Manage client interactions – Project Manager is the single point of contact with our clients (based in US, UK, Europe, UAE, ANZ, Japan, India) and are responsible for managing all interactions. 

7.     Creation of Proposals

Job Specifications:

Essentials:

·  MBA from good institute with minimum 4-7 years of experience with at least 2 years in an e-learning / ITES     company in an independent project management role. Hands on experience in dealing   with internal/external client requirements.   

·          Ability to understand and analyse Client specifications.

·          Excellent Interpersonal skills.

·          Excellent team management capabilities.

·          Good Client relationship management capabilities.

·          Good business understanding/orientation.

·          Ability to deliver under given timelines.

·          Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferable/Added Advantage:

·          Experience of managing a large Project/assignment end-to-end

·          Experience of working in an e-learning environment.
